Our Great Pyrenees Farm.ilies

Growing up when I was 14 I bought my first flock of sheep and little did I know that I was going to LOVE farming! I also had no idea how bad the coyotes were going to affect us. That was the beginning of our Great Pyrenees adventure!

Just a few weeks later for Christmas my Grandma took me to Arkansas to get my first Great Pyrenees puppy to be my livestock guardian dog. I had no idea how to train them but something had to take place to keep the coyotes away from my lambs and that change was going to be a special puppy We picked out named "Nicholas".

 After doing some research it was clear that God created Great pyrenees with these natural instincts and it was time to trust that Nic could do the job that he was created to do. That was to protect. By 8 months old Nic honestly trained himself and had amazing instincts-  When Nic was a year and half old we decided He needed a companion and someone to help him do his job. That is when we got "Blizzard" aka Blizzy. Nic trained her to do the Job God created them to do and We raised multiple litters. Blizzy LOVED being a mama until last year when We decided to have Her spayed. We decided we were past the season of raising livestock guardian dogs  and we were going to focus on raising shihtzus. Well God has a funny way about things because He placed 2 mamas in our path and they both had puppies that were only a few days old. We new after years of raising great pyrenees we would know exactly how to re-home these pups and keep their instincts natural as guardians. So, meet our 2 favorite little rescue farm.ilies!!

We have been incredibly busy on the farm recently and we apologize for not having updated photos.

However we do have lots of photos and videos of them recently and we are open to you coming to the farm to pick out the puppy that best suits you and your family!!
